Providing a "one-stop shop" cargo transportation service between Hong Kong and the PRC is one of CKSD's major objectives at it aims to better meet client needs. With over 40 years' experience and advanced facilities, CKSD is committed to providing clients with the broadest range of time-honored and seamless transportation services.

Currently, CKSD offers the following services covering every aspects of river trade transportation.

In terms of the number of vessels under agency management, the Group is the largest shipping agent for river vessels plying the Hong Kong - Pearl River Delta routes. It services over 100 ship owners with more than 400 vessels under its agency. Typical agency services provided include customs clearance for inward and outward bound vessels calling at Hong Kong; ship management at port basins; procurement of spare parts; replenishing supplies; and chartering of barges and tugboats. CKSD, through two of its subsidiaries, Chu Kong Transhipment & Logistics Co., Ltd ("CKTL") and Chu Kong Agency Co., Ltd.("CKA") provides tailor-made cargo forwarding services for containerized, general and break-bulk cargoes from the PRC for direct shipment to Hong Kong or transshipment to the rest of the world via Hong Kong. In turn, it also provides comprehensive solutions for shipments from Hong Kong to the PRC. The Group provides wharf cargo handling services (including mid-stream operations), cargo consolidation and warehousing from its private wharf located in Tuen Mun, the Marine Cargo Terminal at the Hong Kong International Airport, and the Hong Kong Public Cargo Working Areas, serving river vessels from the PRC. As part of its "one-stop" services, the Group provides customers with container hauling and trucking services in Hong Kong. It owns and operates a fleet of 50 tractors and over 70 trailers which provide services from its private wharf in Tuen Mun to the Kwai Chung Container Terminal or vice versa. These services also enable quick and direct delivery to customers for cargoes destined for Hong Kong.
